Sharktale can really relate to other people. It realtes to other people because Lenny is a vegetarian, and for that his father dosent accept him. The cast really works good together. You can tell how much fun they had doing ths movie just by the voices!

Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful SHARK TALEPosted: 7/29/2005A review of Shark Tale by sexy-body-gul I must say that Mr.Smith is a really good actor as well as extreamly handsome, i must admit that i envey your wife for having such a gorgous husband....As for your character "OSCAR" it was the most self centered person at frist but as uaual it takes a tragic or lack of water for guys to realise that what they are looking for is always right in front of them...Good job to the producers for coming up with the concept...I believe that a woman must have inspired the whole thing cause guys aren't that good....Well that's all I've got to say....just keep up the good acting and hope you appreciate the 'WOMAN BEHIND YOU' thank her every day for her support......... I dunno how to explain it, but this movie had too much 'bling' in it. The soundtrack it awsome, but the movie itself is just plain weird. And no one, NO ONE, and no fish, I REPEAT NO FISH could or ever WILL look more like Will Smith.
You can't cover up your flaws with bright colors and bling. It looked like this movie was trying to do that.
This movie is NOTHING but a sloppy sequel to Finding Nemo.
This'll sound weird, though, but if you want to watch this movie, it's better to be watched at a sleep-over. I dunno why-but I watched it alone, and swore that I'd never watch it again-and then at my BFF's sleep-over, it was actually pretty good.

We walked out after 15 minutes. I'm surprised we even stayed that long. The slang is extremely obnoxious and very annoying. I don't know what happens in the movie and I honestly don't care. I am a huge movie fan and this is the first movie I've had to walk out on ever. I think Will Smith is a wonderful actor, just not so much in this movie. My advice: If you want to see this movie rent it. Dont waste $20 at a movie theater. Was this review helpful? Watch Finding Nemo. I wasn't suprised that Shark Tale and Shrek were dircted by same the person.They are both "children's movies" that shouldn't be watched by children. What is the use of making a children's movie that the children shouldn't watch.Also all the girls in the movie liked somone from a different race. The lessons of the movie were:
You can't buy happiness and be glad about what you do have.
Except homesexuals.
That's what was the most horrible part.You can't force anyone to live a straight life but we don't want them throwing it in the children's faces that it's okay to be gay!!It's not right. If you want to have an exceptence speech, then put in your gay movies they make, not in childrens. Hollywood wants you to believe it's okay to be a homesexual. I guess they want everyone to get Aids!(alot of homesexuals get Aids) Also the movie was racial. Not all whites are rich or in the mob. Not all blacks are living in the geto. These are things that we don't want our children to always be hearing about. I'm tired of a munch of wild drunks from hollywood telling us how to live our lives. When they are the ones who are on drugs, smoke, drink, and can't stay married. If anything we should be telling them how to live. Was this review helpful? The characters are grotesque-looking and the storyline is almost intolerably bad. The only thoughts "swimming" through my head over the duration of the entire movie were, "WHY did I let my bf pick the movie?" and "good god, that fish is almost as ugly as the english teacher I had back in my sophomore year of high school." Perhaps the only good thing about this movie was the way "the Reef" (my, my, what a creative name) bore such an uncanny resemblance to our cities on land.
Do NOT waste your money on this--unless, of course, you're trying to score brownie points with your little sister (or brother, or young nieces, nephews). Was this review helpful? Let's be real and serious about it. It was about a "gay" shark. This "different" shark was vegetarian, he had "strange" friends (the fishes), his father (a big, fat, old shark, head of the mob) was "ashamed" of him, this shark actually "dressed" as a dolphin, and he didn't like the taste of fishes in his mouth, because it made him throw up. Come on, parents, can't you see this is wrong? I'm liberal in that aspect, everyone is free to choose their way of living and sexuality, but exposing kids to these "ideas" (it's fun to be different, it's fun to dress as something else) is just plain wrong. They should keep, at least, the sexual innuendo of the movie at a low level. But no, this movie is full of it, even the kids can see that! Besides, this movie is a waste of money and time anyways. The acting is terrible, the characters are shallow and hollow, the storyline is mediocre, and the stereotypes showed are stupid: The Reggae Jellyfish (Bob Marley smoking-weed style), the Vicious Fearsome Shark (the Godfather style), a Black Foul-Mouth Fish (Ghetto style with *bling*bling*), the Hot and Sexy Fish (Angelina Jolie style, without the softness), the Unnoticed Caring Little Fish (the-one-who-loves-the-main-character-a nd-can't-wait-until-the-end-to-reveal-h er-love-style) and the Little Great White Shark (The confused one in the story). The theme of the movie is un-original and it has been already used in THOUSANDS of shitty-North-American movies. I'm really disappointed. I was hoping to see a great movie, by a great company, but I got nothing. This movie is a waste of time and a waste of your money. A zero ranking would be better. The movie wasn't even funny. All the jokes were old and meaningless, and despite the fact they used big celebrities to make this movie, it is still bad enough to be a movie. THIS MOVIE IS NOT FOR KIDS, IT'S FOR ADULTS.
