The suspense in this movie will drive you up the wall with suspense. Don't watch it in a good mood, Because by the end, you won't be. Was this review helpful? After watching it, I was amazed by it. I've never seen anything like it. A very disturbing thriller. I didn't have any clue as to how the movie would end. The whole time I was watching it, I didn't even leave my chair. My heart was just pounding. It just freaked me out. Not a lotta movie would do that. Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, and Gwyneth Paltrow give great performances. And the 'John Doe' killer... I won't say who plays him for some of those who haven't seen this movie, but, like his other movies, he gives one helluva great performance. Overall, this is definately a classic. This movie is the best movie that I've watched in a long time. The movie itself is just astonishing I wouldn't change a thing about it. The characters are wonderful together,the plot is always thickening, and you will not know what's going to happen until the end-these things make a great suspense movie,that is worth watching over and over again Was this review helpful? This movie is one of the best movies I have seen with dark matters. Basiclly, there has'nt been a movie as beutifal as this one.to me its a great movie in a sense of awkward awakanig of the different faces of reality, and it is also jam pack with, grotesck irony of life. So basicly what I am saying is if you would like to step into a twisted world of a detectives life which happens to be tangled with a killers will, then this is the movie to whatch. It is amazingly well written, thanks to Andrew Kevin Walker. Director David Fincher, though, deserves bundles of credit for helping bringing this amazing story to life. The acting was incredible, Freeman's best performance, and Pitt's, too. I think his portrayal of Mills was fantastic, and Freeman's weary Somerset quoting Hemingway at the end was perfection. and as for Kevin Spacey....as a die hard Spacey fan, I'd say he was the only man who colud portray such a character as John Doe, and he didn't let me down. he blew my mind. BRAD PITT PLAYED A PART OFA DETECTIVE THAT WANTED TO LEARN AS MUCH AS HE CAN FROM HIS RETIRING PARTNER. THE MOVIE WAS SEAT GRIPPING AND NOT KNOWING WHAT TO EXPECT NEXT IS WHAT MADETHE MOVIE.
