Alan Rickman played the part of Colonel Brandon very well and he made the film as brilliant as it was. Emma Thompsons screenwriting abilities are tramendous and I would reccomend this movie to anyone who like an intelligent film. Was this review helpful? It's an excellent movie with amazing actors. I simply adored it. I love it. There is just not enough words to describe this brilliant movie.
