Spider man turns jockey and teams up with two other men and a one in a life time horse to bring a Depression sick America back on its feet and it goes to show in a room or country of lost people one person or just one thing can bring us all together.

I laughed ,cried,and got angry with the characters in the movie it was like wasnt sitting at home waching a movie i was there! I would however reccomend it to older children and adults my little sisters were brored with it and there pretty little so u might like i said want to find a different movie for the little ones and then watch this amazing movie later on by yourself or with someone. It tells the story of a homely looking horse that most people wouldn't pay much attention to, that shows the world that looks arnt everything, and brings hope to a nation in the great depresion. It takes your breath away when you watch how horse and man come together as they teach each other a thing about life. I would recomend this movie to anyone, even if your not a horse lover. The special attention to staying true to the book, the acting, the attention to the racing scenes, etc., etc. I think the really special thing is that the country needed a winner and this story explains why the country got a winner. The dramatic use of black and white film footage against the color is dramatic and makes a very great contribution in explaining why the public loved this horse and why the public should now love this movie! Before it showed at our local theater, I heard a Paul Harvey "Rest of the Story" segment on Seabiscuit. After he told how the horse looked at Tom Smith and nodded his head, I knew I had to see this movie. It didn't disappoint. If you love animals, this movie is a must see. It makes you cry and you just fall in love with Seabiscuit. One of my best Christmas presents this year was receiving this movie, even after having gone to the theater to see it. I loved the book. I loved the movie.<br>I thought the movies was the Best of the Year. A great American story. In the movie, people in the audience applauded at the end of one of the races, then applauded again when the movie finished. That is unusual! As soon as the movie was on DVD, I bought it. Later, I bought three more for Christmas gifts for my kids. I was very moved and excited about this great story. Hope everyone who likes movies gets a chance to see it. Was this review helpful?
