I was impressed when I learnt that it was Billy Morrissette first time directing.He did a brillant job.There where some very memorable scenes including the one where pat(maura tierney)goes and gets some burn onitement for her burn.Christoper Walken and Maura Tierney stood out the most in tearms of acting talent but James Le gros performance was very middle road and did not stand out at all,the three pot smoking hippies were also very good and got in the role well.(Amy Smart,Timothy 'speed'levitch and Andy Dick.)I would highly recommend this movie.Both the directing and acting was of a very high quality. Yes, the plot is somewhat quirky...you have to kinda just go with it. It is good to know the general plot of ";McBeth"; before you see it. And its definetly one that gets better the more times you watch it because you are bound to be a little confused the first time around. If you rent it on DVD you can try the director's commentary. If you are a Maura Tierny fan you will get a kick out of it as she is the wife of the director and he says some pretty funny things. Even so, it helps to explain some of the plot and can't hurt. The movie is good and is very funny - don't even try to take it seriously. But I highly recommend it. Was this review helpful? Storyline was ok, but not that great. But if you like that kinda dark humour that you only get if you're in on the joke type stuff then i reckon it's good. I liked ti anyway. Was this review helpful? I can't believe I actually went to blockbuster video to rent it.I could'nt make any sense out of it.That is 4 dollars$ I should have kept.It sure as hell did'nt get my vote!It involved very poor acting skills.I did'nt even finish watching it.
