When a wierd creature lurkes into spooky Island people get a little scared. But it is nothing the gang cant handel. Scooby-Doo Was great it was a true Family comedy it was funny and smart. I remember the show from my own childhood, but it doesn't mean that I'll ignore the fact that the remake or even the movie based on it is just terrible. And by Hades, this movie is a worthless piece of crap. It has no plot, other than Shaggy and occassionally Velma the characters were way off the original series, hell the actors who played Fred and Daphne were terrible themselves. Daphne was never seen as weak in the show but boy was she annoying about being herself in the movie. At least her outfits were cool. Other than that, I just hated the character. Fred was just plain dumb, Velma was fine, and Shaggy was pretty good. I would forgive the CG if the story and plot were plausable. I'm not expecting Shakesphere, but I hate it when something like this insults my intelligence. This movie can only be good when you're drunk, otherwise don't bother. Was this review helpful? Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, Linda Cardellini, Matthew Lillard, and Scooby Doo will put you at the edge of your seat for hilariously, uproaring comedy! It's a favorite of mine and all of my cousins and is defenitely "TWO THUMBS UP!". I'm counting down the days until the sequel comes out. I just can't wait! Peace out. It is great for kids cause it has all of the little senceless humor that kids think is helarious. And it is also really good for adults because it reminds them of their childhood, but defenteyly isn't one of those "ok, my kids are loving it, but when is it going to end?" And then their teens. Some of the toughest critics today. Now, being one my self, i LOVED it! and i went with a bunch of friends on opening day, and we all loved it! Even the guys. It kinda gives the "don't grow up to fast" feeling. Even tho it isn't completly juvinial and like "ok, are you 3 years old still" Over all i think this is a great movie for any age. And hopefully they will go through with their Scooby Doo 2 idea! Was this review helpful? It was not as good as they make it sound.I have to say I did not care for it at all.
