Al Pacino is amazing acting as Tony Montana a cuban immigrant who rises to the top of the drug world. The move as so many great quotes dont get high on your supply, ive got two things in this world my balls and my word and i dont break em for anyone, say hello to my littlel friend.The action is intense and gory just the way God intended. However the amazing acting and storyline perfectly depict miami in the 1980s drug scean. All in all a great movie my favorite of all time so go see the movie now dont waste another second!! The acting is great (its pacino, need i say more) the supporting actors are great also. the story in this movie is awesome and believable because this movie displays what really happens in the drug world. this movie show this rise of a ruthless drug kingpin and his sudden fall. anyone who does not recommend this movie does not know what they are talking about because this is one of the best crime movies ever. even roger ebert (a very good movie critic) gave it an awesome rating 4 out of 4 stars.
i recommend this movie to anyone! if u dont like swearing (over 160 F words) or drugs then you shouldnt see this movie but if u dont mind that then watch it!!!!!! Was this review helpful? He is a prolific, influencial acting talent. Few movies have ever achieved the greatness of scarface.

To mention this movie in the same breath with Goodfellas, Casino, Mean Streets, Donnie Brasco,The Godfather, etc. is a joke. No beleiveable story what so ever, when I was watching the violent scenes I felt like I was watching a cartoon. What amazes me our the reviewers who are entertained by this garbage of a movie. The story and character development does not exist, the movie and the dialogue looks and feels like it was filmed on a cam corder. I had heard of it when I was just a kid, that famous line,"Say hello to my little friend!" I finally saw it and I now know why it is such a great movie. Everything about it says that it was professionally done; all tha actors were excellent and tha special effects, etc. From start to finish it is entertaining. You have to be a very stupid and boring person to find this movie bad. I'm sure that some dumb mother of a retarted little kid who had nightmares about tha movie wrote a review saying its bad, but that person should be shot BY MY LITTLE FRIEND! I have read a few of tha reviews and I'm happy that they are all positive and they all gave it a 5 star rating, I commend these people for seeing this movie for how great it is. I have this movie on tape and I really want to get the special edition DVD. Al Pacino is tha perfect actor for this movie, he is completely believable. This is one movie that you will definitely watch over and over again. So don't rent this movie, go to your nearest store and buy it, it is that good. If you haven't seen this movie you are seriously missing out, I can't believe I didn't get a chance to see it until this year, I never got around to it. It's not becuz its rated R cuz I watch whatever tha @#*( I want, my parents are good people for letting me do that and I hope that all of you sheltered kids out there ignore your parents attempts to ruin your life by preventing you from watching these important movies. Watching rated R movies are a part of growing up and waiting till ur 17 is tha worst thing you could do. Once again this movie is tha greatest, buy it ASAP and you'll see what you have been missing!! Although we all realise the lead charecter Antonio Montana is a bad guy, we can't be helped but be gripped by this charecter. He is fearless, and in some bizzare way, likeable. The acting in the "Say goodnight to the Bad guy!" scene was unbelieveable. It is a true classic. Al Pacino is outstanding in this movie, no one else could have pulled off that charecter. I have watched this movie atleast 50 times, and im sure i shall continue watching it. Along with the Godfather this is the greatest movie that was ever made.
