Everything people love in horror movies. But it starts off wierdly, so you have to see the first to get the introduction. Its basically the same thing from Saw except with new people, new ways to hurt people, and new objective. But the movie suffers with some parts not making sense and stupidity. A girl puts her hands in glass cuffers to get an antidote. Who is stupid enough to do that? Of course it won't let go! Idiot. I guess Saw 2 was fun to watch, but definately not a keeper. Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  THE BEST HORROR MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN!Saw 2 is the sequel to the box office hit Saw(oct, 2004) and for me, this is one of the few movies where the sequel gets much better! Saw tells the story of a murder called the Jigsaw Killer, who finds people who have messed up there life or hurt other people, and puts them in some kind of trap to see how much they value there own life. If they can escape, they leave(but never unharmed). If they dont, they die.
The reason I think saw 2 is better then the original is because there are so many twists and turns that will leave you in awe. Also, this time instead of to people in traps, there are 8! They are in a desserted house with nerve gas coming through the vents. They will die in 2 hours, but the doors to the house open in 3. To escape, they need to find the antidotes, hidden all around the house in various traps and tests.
It was a great movie, and i think it brought the modern day horror movie back to life! Was this review helpful? And the part where jigsaw explained why he did that stuff to the people totally unbelievable. the gross out factor want even there i was bored through the whole movie and was glad when it was over when saw3 comes out i will definitely skip that one! This movie is just too completely awesome. The way that all the characters died out was worth the price of admission. Before this movie came out on DVD, I would recommend to watch this movie alone in an empty theater before you see it on DVD. But now that its out on DVD, just rent it, own it, or whichever you want. But I recommend to watch this in a big house, alone, with every single light off. You just never know whats coming at you next. Which is why the thrill of it is just too much fun. So, if you like slashers, be prepared, because this isnt a slasher, its a head game where the results are bloody and deadly. I love this movie with all my heart. Its now one of my favorites in the entire horror movie genre, with the exception of the first Friday the 13th. But, if I dont get back to work, Ill be looking for another job, so peace out, people. I think the first one was better, because you didnt see it coming, i think the second one was to much like the first one. As with Saw, Saw Ii delievers a well written story, and a plot that keeps you glued to screen to see who will get it next and how it will be executed. Much better than your cookiecutter slasher movie, where the villian is always around the corner no matter where you run. More horror films should be as well thought out. Was this review helpful? The story was way more complex than the first, thought much more interesting. I love the way Tobin Bell plays his part. Lethal weapon 2 aliens 2 and some of the other two im looking at you star wars. Then comes a movie like saw and saw 2 and i gotta back up i gotta give praise i gotta say amen lawd jezus.
this movie has it all even a creepy needle seen i effin hate needles.It was ths the most potent movie in a sea of inpontent hollywood foder. the twitst the turns the blood the gore the sounds.It was off the chain and out of the box of convetion.bad guy on hit, good guy inperfect kid not to whiny and girly.holy god this movie rocks in so many ways i cant even count them, but i think i have.go see it dont be a hoe.
