I bought it and I was just amazed at all the interesting characters. Lester the Pimp, or the Crackhead in the Park, or Olegs Dad Anzor. Seriously this movie is so well put together it just flows and allows for other subjects to fall into the original subject. In short this is just an awesome movie. I like his character. Critics are only out to find the flaws, where as the everyday audience either likes or dislikes the movie. The movie is entertainment for us, but for critics, it is work, because they have to write a review with big words and in-depth descriptions. Anyway, this movie was unpredictable, upsetting, and violent... good ingredients for a thriller. Was this review helpful? Its kind like training day, narc, and sin city mixed together in one film. I have to admitt I am a movie buff and if a movie does not have a good plot, then Ill get up and walk the hell out of the theater. What side of Neverland is these people from..? Back to the movie Running Scared, it never lets up from start to the sound of the pistol it plays tricks with your emotion. Reality TV on the big screen displaying a vast array of suspense as it takes you on a roller coaster ride with you never being able to predict what will happen next. Running Scared is indeed the best action thriller that I have seen in years seriously surpassing Crash, Dominio, or whatever else. This movie check your moral standards by the issues that are developed from the plot. Must see more..... (Not recommended for Saints) Was this review helpful? It is a much better movie than 16 Blocks. Everything was done correctly in this movie and the story is excellent. The only negative thing I can say about it is that the nudity made is so I couldnt take my kids to see it. The women were absolutely beautiful though. This is the best action movie Ive seen in years. Sign In 0 out of 2 users found this helpful BEST MOVIE OF 2006Posted: 3/10/2006A review of Running Scared by portoricankitten when all is said and done a movie is to be above all entertaining. if not for that then why did they make it? to say that this movie is sleazy and a prime example of hell on earth and far from reality, is to state that you grew up in a cushy lifestyle. i for one, see it as a possibly very real reality. it can happen and probably does. of course if it were a documentary, itd be boring. the movie absolutely blindside you with suspense and action. 5 stars for blood...check gore...check.....sex....check....suspen se....check.....spics and goombas.....double check. the movie is kick ass. go watch it, screw the critics. Those couple of reviewers that complained about this movie not being realistic to the point of ridiculous should stay at home and watch their reality tv. The most random part was the child porn part, where Walkers wife shoots two adults that run a child porn operation. It was the most random thing I have ever seen in a movie like this.
