EVEN THOUGH I HAVE ONLY SEEN 3000 MOVIES IT'S NICE TO THINK THAT MY EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE IS SO GOOD THAT YOU WOULD THINK I HAVE SEEN 300,000 MOVIES. TO BE COMPARED OR EVEN METIONED IN THE SAME BREATH AS SISKEL AND EBERT IS ALSO GREAT AND MAKES WRITTING THAT MUCH MORE FUN. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN. Sign In 9 out of 12 users found this helpful  RepulsionPosted: 10/25/2002A review of Repulsion by Plum_Siren I don't know why they have that picture of the bathing-suited Catherine Deneuve to depict this movie . . . talk about misleading!!! Repulsion of one of the best and creepiest psychological thrillers I've ever seen. And, it's filmed in black and white, which makes it that much scarier. The special effects are excellent and Deneuve's acting is superb . . . understated, but that's just what's needed to add to the heightened suspense that is generated as the movie progresses and to depict her downward spiral into madness. Deneuve is on the screen 99 percent of the film and carries her role off beautifully. Not to mention how beautiful she is to look at. One of Roman Polanski's best movies. Was this review helpful?
