You all must be under the age of 14 and dont know what good cinema is. Hilary Duff cant act worth crap and this movie is just downright stupid. She cant sing either. The only thing she has going for her and the only reason she stays in the star scene is because SOME people think she is hot. She should give up with acting for good.
1) She cant act or sing.
2) Critics always rate her movies 1.
3) She has no talent.
4) Lindsey Lohan acts wayyyyyyyy better.
5) She needs to grow up and make adult films(shes getting older)

this film is my favourite film ever! it made me cry in places but hilary duff is a really good actress and singer no1 would have been able to play the part of terri as good as hilary. I have watched this film millions of times and every time it gets better and better. If you are thinking of buying this film go ahead and get it u will not be dissapointed.

Although I am dissappointed Ashlee is not in this movie (because Ashlee is AMAZING), the movie is still excellent! I give props to Hilary because she is an amazing actress! But who knew her latest movie could take her from MISS DISNEY GOODY- GOOD to mature and cool.
Her latest movie RAISE YOUR VOICE is all about a girl who just wants to be noticed and heard. But theres only one person that respects that. Her brother. But when worse come to worse, bad things are going to happen to this high- school chior preformer. Not only does she lose her brother in a car accident she loses her fathers trust and respects. But then she thinks that there might be change for once when she gets accetpted at a singing arts school for the summer. She does a lot of sneeking and crying over the summer, but its all worth it when she makes friends, works hard and finds her first and true love.
i would recommened this film to everyone. but i warn you to have a box of tissues next to you. Was this review helpful? I dont dis Hilary on how she looks or how her movies are. even though im not a big fan of hers i still watch her movies. she is so lucky that shes gets to work with Oliver James he is so cute and i love his accent. hilary is just a normal human being like everyone else shes like every other actor. if you dont like hilary then dont force everybody that is a fan of hers to hate her thats just not right. well all i know is shes a good actors and i watch her movies once in a while. It was something I think everyone can relate to. I think Hilary had to improve her voice to do this role, and I don't think her voice was fake. I think she really showed compassion and love in this awesome movie. Duff shows that no matter what, hold your dreams tight.
