"i got a college degree and still can't understand the movies plot...my kids feel the same way., and there in college now...don't waist your money..wait for t.v."
The movie was awesome and the plot was easy to follow. "i got a college degree" bull crap for starters it should be "I have a college degree" what college did you go to? NDC? (National Dumb College)
The plot was so good, it was all very good the acting was amazing.
"and there in college" it should be "and they are in college"

I can't believe that Dakota Fanning was even in this movie. My buddy who slept most of the movie woke up and asked if we could leave? I wanted to stay hoping there would be something redeeming in it. It was not supposed to be a comedy but everyone in the theater was laughing. The screaming guys, the sniffers, wtf? And the best of all the scene where the guns are floating in air. hahahaha this movie was horendous and dakota fannings skirt was way too short for a 12 yr old. Was this review helpful? The movie was really really bad. My husband went to sleep twice and I nearly dozed off too. It was very slow and boring. The only acting that was good was the little girl. Save your money. The acting was fair and the plot was ok, and special effects were remarkable. The story was highly osmotic though and I liked how the movie progressed and didn't get too dramatic in any one particular area. I appreciated the family that could yell, and think this story line can do well with a part II and III...as the story has cult-like charisma of about 8+. The charactors, their jobs, their abilities were alluring. Some of the actual climatic parts were sort of lame...but action oriented and I appreciate the action sequences in general. Me and my buddie that saw the movie loves action movies. My friend thought that there could have been more action, but the movie was cool. Dakota Fanning was a great actress and she dressed stylish. Dakota was a realistic watcher.The screaming men were not very cool, but that's just my opinion. I woke up about a half hour later wondering why i had not left. I was so dissappointed. I think it might have been the worst show i have ever seen. I like action this movie had lots of action. I am sorry if some people can not keep up with this movie. The time just flew by because there is so much into this movie. Unfortunately the movie is kinda of a let down. They breifly explain the powers in the beginning but no real detail is given. The depth of the movie is thin but could have been thick. The story is quick to the point and has alot of room for a sequel that i wouldnt mind coming out. The effects are amazing for protraying super powers.The movie is not terrible and then again its not great. It doesnt give you the satisfaction of leaving and say "O my god that was amazing!" I leaves you saying "That was good.... Now where did I park?"

It didn't really have what I wanted from it. I think overall they took themsleves way too seriously.. wait I take that back, DAKOTA took herself way too seriously.. her acting was horrible and she just looked ridiculous sitting there holding two big guns in her hands with her skinny girl like frame.
