Instead he is stuck traveling across the country with an annoying shower curtain ring salesman who tries to help, but things just seem to make things worse as everything imaginable seems to go wrong for Neal. The entire wacky trip the two take try to take to get to Chicago just seems to be filled with bad luck. You get to know alot about the characters who spend lots of close time with each other. Sharing a bed, riding in the back of trucks, and dealing with a little car fire all help them get really aquainted and find out that they really press each others buttons. Was this review helpful? It is so funny and it is my dad's favorite. We watch it every thanksgiving and it has become kind of a tradition. It is one of those movies that has everything, great actors, its funny, sad, and touching. All in all this comedy is a classic! If you have never seen it before than you are missing out!
