Honestly, in the beginning i was pretty sure it was going to be boring, I mean an hour and a half a hott guy in a phonebooth. So, in the beginning I only rented it because of Colin Farrell... hehe, but to my surprise the movie was AWSOME!!! So, to all the ladies out there, Colin was even HOTTER than I expected!! SO HOTT!!! And to all the gentlemen out there, an EXCELLENT movie!!!! It was so entertaining!!! I wasnt breathing through the whole movie!! If you are looking for an entertaining triller to watch, watch PHONE BOOTH!!!! Was this review helpful? I think Liberty Stands Still. Phone Booth has significantly less depth than Liberty Stands Still with a less meaningful plot. However, I give this flick 3 stars and no less because Colin Farrell played a fantastic manipulator who is thrown into something that his fragile existence has trouble dealing with. Kiefer Sutherland has a great voice for a judge whom we do not see throughout the movie... and Im always a Forest Whitaker fan. The movie is fine, as a whole, the plot is just uninventive. Colin Farrell is outstanding in his acting. I was impressed with the depth of his facial reactions and vocal control throughout the movie. Forest Whitaker also gave a solid performance as per usual. I don't tend to watch movies more than once, but have already watched this one seven times. I know I will watch it many more times to come. Was this review helpful? A true psychological thriller. My girlfriend bought this on DvD 4 me and she and I watched it last night...Its simply awesome. Colin's acting was superb. The dialogue held was intense, thrilling and kept the excitement to a degree of your typical action film. It was great to see the intensity of a thriller/action film in such a new and orignal way. I also enjoyed the cinemetography of this film, the angles were great and I loved the pop up alternate views of the action at hand. All around, a great movie, lots of fun and something I would both reccomend and see again!!! Was this review helpful? Honestly I had no idea the whole set would be only a phonebooth. An hour and half, ya'll could have done better. Low on budget? I thought the concept of the movie was interesting but as far as the creativity and the originality of the film goes it was very terrible.
