Even though we think that the French hate us (and most of them do) a trip to Paris should be mandatory for all Americans. This has to be the most beautiful, dirty, romantic, adventurous, breathtaking cities I have ever visited. The movie is just a great backdrop for the shorts that take place throughout the city. Even if you haven't traveled there, you will want to just to taste the spirit you have been missing all of your life. This is not a chick flick by any means. It is intelligent, well written by all and is very amusing and touching as well. Especially the one about the 'deux cafes'. I highly recommend this movie for it's entertainment value alone. It is about time you walk away from a movie and feel like someone in Hollywood owes you about 9 bucks and 2 hours of your wasted life! Snakes On A Plane.....??? Give me a break! There are stories completely in French, some completely in English, and some a combination of the two. A couple of the stories were weird, but most were really cute love stories that intertwined with the other stories in the movie. My favorite story was the last one about an American woman who falls in love with Paris. Anyone who stuggles with the pronunciation of the language will love it. I could totally relate to her.
