But if you are looking for a movie that has great drama, a compelling story, great acting then you have come to the right place! What was up with that? I have never seen someone sweat like she did in this movie. I could barely stand to look at her. It was YUCK! Anyway, the rest of the movie was great....... It all came together by the end. I too thought that maybe the two actresses should have swithced roles... but then maybe not. At first the chemistry did sort of lack between the chief and his ex "wife". Great looking cast and fine performances by all. Mr Washington is just so good with some rather at times average material. It's a pleasure to watch him work. There were some real suspensful moments and only a few scenes that could have been rewritten or edited. The money changing hands could have been explained a little more clearly for one. The pacing of this fim is excellent. Overall: A taut little thriller.<br><br> Was this review helpful? This movie was the best movie I've seen this winter yet! Denzel outdid himself again! I don't know what movie you guys were watching, but the "Out Of Time" that I saw was a very good movie! It had me in suspense the whole time! I couldn't believe how smart Denzel was, and how his ex-wife and best friend took up for him and saved him from being in deep do-do! This movie was excellent! When I thought it was going to end one way, it was a totally different ending! Denzel, Sanaa, and the rest of the cast definitely did their thing in this movie! <br><br>All I have to say, is anyone that did not appreciate this movie is insane, because it was the bomb! Watching Denzel act through this confusing screenplay kept me in my seat. Dean Cain should have stayed at home and watched from there, his character was un-needed. Sanaa could have carried that role without Dean. Eva was brilliant but gave Denzel a little bit too much credit ... she knew something was wrong and should have confronted him well before she did. Sign In 3 out of 3 users found this helpful WOW!Posted: 10/16/2003A review of Out of Time by FRESHSPICEE before i go to watch a movie, i read the reviews on the internet from both critics and users alike. been a devoted fan of Denzel, i was really surprised when the average grade alloted to the movie by the"professional movies critics" was a B-. anyway, i did'nt let that deter me, i did go watch the moive and now i have to say hmmn, you so called professional critics dont have an idea what you are talking about. in my own opinion, this movie was indeed full of much drama, i could harldy keep to my seat. I am so grateful that movies are made for entainment of the general public and most times, its the simple movies like "out of time" with great acting that make one most entertained. it doesnt have to be too complex before one gets to enjoy a movie... Denzel is a great actor in this movie, as well as in all his other films.
