It was a little creepy because it involves cellphones, and i (like most people) use a cell phone every day. But the twist at the end was just dumb! Was this review helpful? Every second there were chills going down your spine with the suspense making people jump out of the chairs. ALthough the movie provided really good graphics, I was left with a "That's it?"....The ending of the movie was all that bumbed me out because the little girl was automatically shoved back into the cell phone....and someone else was being called again. The protagonist of the movie was cheating death just like in "Final Destination" trying to find ways to figure out exactly why people were dying and searching for clues what was causing natural deaths. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give this movie an 8. Many of the characters were shown only about twice, but after that were never mentioned again leaving you with a question as to what importance did that person have in the movie. Sign In 0 out of 1 users found this helpful A Little Better Than Avg.Posted: 1/4/2008A review of One Missed Call by tjones143 The idea of a horror film involving cell phones seemed a little bit dumb, and at times in the film there are some dumb parts. However, the story is pretty interesting. This is a remake of a Japanese film, and you can definetely see hints of The Grudge and Final Destination within it, so it's not totally unique, but for me it works. It has a good element of creepiness to it, and the cast is pretty good. Don't think you will see a new and awesome horror story here, but it's worth seeing. Was this review helpful?
