Date  Helpful Rating 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  OBSESSED rent or buy itPosted: 10/16/2009A review of Obsessed by jackb9999thesimpsons it was good i think the ending is waht people go and see it for, it is mint, you will be blown away when beyonce and ali fight and then one of them falls throught the ceiling after about 10 minutes of fighting around the hole house onto the chandelierthen it it falls down a bit more causing her to fall onto a glass table and when she opens her eyes the chandelier falls on her amediatley crushing her! what a death, well if you want to find out who dies, GO AND RENT IT OR BUY IT NOW!! No way I could be a high ranking preason in a company and let someone play the scam on me that she played. Still if beyonce really wants to be known as an actress and if she takes the time and put in the time and work needed to become one I will support her movies. Beyonce' should just stick to singing and being cute, She has better chances of staying with a job there. Alii Larter is a poor imitation of R. De Mornay and Glenn Close. I think that most people are not ready for this kind of movie. Some people don't like the thought of their special women going after our special men. I think that the story was greatly told and I think that America needs to know the truth. All actors did a great job playing their parts. If you want to see a great story and see some truth in our society, please take a look. Go B!! By the way a black woman is the hero in this movie!!!! Was this review helpful? He was not entertained until the end. I enjoyed the whole thing. It was nice to watch a movie where some hot blonde comes on to a married man and him not fall for it. Usually its the wife or husband that suffers and in this movie that is definitely not the case. It was nice to be able to agree with what the husband and wife were doing and it had some great girl on girl butt-kicking! I would recommend it. Was this review helpful? It was completely predictable, drawn out & just absurd towards the end. If your only going to see Ali or Beyonce and do not care much about an actual movie than you will be ok. Other than that I would not recommend seeing this movie in the theater, just wait until it comes out on DVD or even regular TV. Was this review helpful? the lady is crazy..ha ha ...seriously she is. beyonce is a really good actress..i didnt know that she had that in her. i was watching this movie with my boyfriend and he also thought this movie was aweome. dude, it was the best thriller...not my favorite..but it is a good movie to see with your friends or boyfriends. ha ha!

Idris was great, as usual.beyonce did however show growth in her acting skills. i enjoyed her rendition of a scorned woman, especially during the fight scenes when she said "i'm gonna mop the floor with your ass". that is so southern....

The only thing that made this movie worth while was my girlfriends and I went drinking first. This movie is toooo sloooow and when it finally picks up you already know what's going to happen. The plot was plausible, but the acting was very good and the movie moved very quickly. Both Beyonce and Idris Elba did a strong job along with the actress who played Lisa. It is really refreshing to see an affluent black family that is not disfunctional, a strong black family man and a successful black man who is not chasing white skirts. Beyonce did what she had to do to keep her family together and that is that! Was this review helpful?
