Nick Beam has just found his wife and his boss in bed together. Suddenly life has no meaning and he hits thet road. At first he nearly becomes the victim of carjacker T Paul until it becomes obvious that T Paul isn't very good at it. Nick refuses to give in to his threats and hits the gas. T Paul is thrown for an unexpected loop. Nick's present mood over the loss of his wife make him braver than he would normally be. Nick begins to lecture T about the evils of a crime after T nearly bungles a gas station hold-up. Nick suggests other alternatives or at the least to plan a little ahead of time and go for the big score rather than small ones. At this point Nick decides to get even with his boss by robbing his company. All goes well unitl Nick realizes revenge doesn't make him feel better. He calls home (which he could have dome in the first place) and finds out that it wasn't his wife he saw in bed - it was his sister-in-law and her fiance. He realizes now that he has misjudged her and must return the stolen money before somebody notices it missing as well as his face on the security video. The stolen money happens to have fallen into the hands of a couple of hoods who have been pursuing them since a narrow escape earlier. He gets the money back captures the the two thugs and then is confronted by T who reminds him that he is still unemployed which is what lead him to a life of crime in the first place. Nick has also had the opportunity to meet T's famliy and in the offers T a job. The stolen money is restored and every body lives happily ever after.

Take Tim Robbins. Add one tarantula, mix it with gasoline-soaked loafers, a book of matches, Martin Lawrence with a camcorder and the "Scatman" song. What do you get? One of the most physical comic moments in cinema history!
