Its so funny and it catches all of the teen movie cliches. It inspired me to go and watch most of the other movies to get the already funny jokes even better and I think Chris Evans is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen lol ;) I would give this movie a 10 if I could and I wouldnt change a thing.
Whoever didnt like this either was to dumb to get the jokes or had no sense of humor wat so ever. Was this review helpful? And for the scene where everyone's at the dance, the band playing is none other than Maryland based quartet Good Charlotte! If you thought they were good in the movie then you need to pick up their albums. Good Charlotte:Bonus Tracks and Good Charlotte: The Young and The Hopeless. Their newest album (Good Charlotte: The Chronicles of Life and Death) comes out on October 5th 2004. All GC fans will have to get this album! Admittedly it took about ten minutes for the story to warm up and there was at least one loose end (like "the gorgeous weird guy"- that one went nowhere), but the whole thing gave me a great belly laugh and I would definitely watch it again. As a child of the 1980's I was able to enjoy many of the in-jokes, including seeing Paul Gleason, Molly Ringwald and others - possibly someone who was not of that time wouldn't get it. I loved it though - it avoided going over the top and the comedy moved very quickly, while still being easy to follow. Very good scriptwriting. Was this review helpful? A funny movie making fun of teen movies like She's all that, 10 things i hate about you, bring it on,Rudy, grease, ferris buellers day off, varsity blues, never been kissed, and more... After seing this movie, you hate it, or love it! Not all of them are as horny as you wish them to be. This movie was also making fun of some of the best directors in the world, I mean if you want to see a funny movie watch the orignal American Pie not some bad actors make fun of it. Sure it was a funny movie but it's a movie you laugh at olny once, and after you laugh you think of how embarressed the actors must feel. Watch this movie once. Was this review helpful?
