Who ever made this movie a low rating has no sense of humor at ALL!! This was one of Eddie Murphy's Classics right next to Coming To America AND Boomerang. There was not anyone that I personaly knew that disliked this movie. Eddie is very gifted inwhich he can play many characters. Not many actors can do this. Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  HilariousI loved this movie and thought that Eddie Murphy was hilarious as Norbit, Rasputia, and Mr. Wong. I could barely even tell that Mr. Wong was played by Eddie Murphy. This movie had me laughing from beginning to end, especially at the water-park when Rasputia is asked if she is wearing bottoms. Great job Eddie Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Still Eddie Murphy!It is difficult to read such terrible reviews from the critics of the movie Norbit. It is a COMEDY which should not be scaled with Gone With The Wind.
Eddie accomplishes what few others have done in the history of film. Norbit remains true to comedy and the tremendous abilty of Mr. Murphy who has inspired many to act, sing, or just to be proud of yourself.
The many characters of Norbit will be joked about for decades, as it should. Well done Eddie Murphy and cast!

Not as funny as I thought it would be! Eddie Murphy is a great actor but over did it in this film! Nutty Professor was better than this one! It couldve been a little offensive to some cause I aint a small girl. I shouldve waited to see it if I knew it was going to be so crappy, I wouldnt have paid to see it!! Was this review helpful? It was a waste of my time and I wouldnt even get it on DVD. Hugh dissapointment, but I guess when you expect a fat woman as a comedic part in a movie, its bound to fail. The humor of Eddie is RAW and politically incorrect and this movie is exactly that. Should have been completely obvious to everyone from the trailer or the photo at the top of the page.
