Date  Helpful Rating 1 out of 1 users found this helpful  My favorite movie of all the times!Posted: 11/13/2003A review of Ninotchka by SweetSwedishGreta The movie "Ninotchka" is a great combination of wonderful director,adorable cast and witty plot.<br>Greta Garbo is lovely as cold-faced Ninotchka:she looks gorgeous in those plain grayish clothes and without any make-up.Actualy,she's even more beautiful while wearing simple clothes.Her face is so perfect,that it doesn't matter what she wears-she always loooks great.She's the queen!<br>Melvyn Douglas is capturing as Leon:he's funny,<br>but also a gentleman.<br>The three comrades are a really gem and Bela Lugosi is surprisingly agreable as Razinin.I adore that movie and every time I see it it's a selebration!It's one of the greatest comedies ever made and it's the classic of the movie making.If I could,I were rating "Ninotchka" with 10 stars,but I can't,so I give it the maximum I can-5 stars! It has a clean, simple humor that not everyone would appreciate, with the ";American Pies"; and ";Road Trips"; of todays humor. It has all the ingrediants to make a classic comedy/love story: the strong woman, the savvy french man, the ";three stooge"; like Russians, the jealous Dutchess. this is a movie that any cultured person would thoroughly enjoy.
