The exhibits were really cool. This was the best film of Summer 2009. Was this review helpful? This movie was a sad attempt to ride the humorous coat-tails of the original and it failed miserably!! It wasn't very creative and was just downright stupid. I was so annoyed and bored with three fourths of the movie. They tried using arguments among characters as most of the humor and I got so tired of listening to people argue. There were so many long and stupid arguments that just weren't funny!! Don't waste your money. Was this review helpful? I have seen it twice and thought that it was hilarious!!! This movie is sooooo funny and I thought that Ben Stiller made it even more funnier!! I also loved that they put the Jonas Brothers as Cupid. This was such a great movie.Iwould recommend this to anybody that is looking for a good, funny movie. Everybody in the cast does a great job to make this movie a hilarious movie. I hope that my review and my rating helped to decide on whether on seeing this movie helped!!! (I would say more but I don't want to give the movie away!!!) If you see the movie I hope you enjoy it !!!!! Was this review helpful? However, though not a future classic, it was actually rather cute. I particularly enjoyed some of the special effects throughout the movie. If you saw the first Night at the Museum, I would recommend you see Battle of the Smithsonian. Was this review helpful? This is a movie for all to see at any age ! You will fall in love with Amy Adams and you are always on the edge with Hank Azaria. Night at the museum brings you to tears of laughter. It's about time some "Non-realistic," movies come back. No more blood and guts, and robbery. We as a nation, need to start laughing again and this movie does just that. Museums across the nation have experienced an increase in people who once again are interested in their local museums as a direct result from watching, Night at the Museum. Shawn Levy has proven himself to be an excellent Director and 20th Century Fox has a "WINNER." Was this review helpful? Night at the Museum 2 had none of the charm of the original. There was no plot...just a series of scenes that appeared to be thrown together. They could have done such a better job. Is it good for children sure, it is on the level of teletubies but definetly not on the level of Sesame street. I walked out brfore the end , I could not stand this movie. Was this review helpful? It lacked the charm, wit and interesting storyline that made the first movie a success. The last five minutes were good and provided the only joy in the film. Had this been the first in the series, there wouldn't have been a sequel. Was this review helpful? There were some cute moments but other than that it was over done and if there was a remote....fast forward worthy. Was this review helpful? I mean, the whole story took place in just one night (unlike the first film that lasted up to 3 nights or so), and I was actually hoping that Ben Steller's character might get into trouble with the guards. On the other hand, it may be a good family film to watch at home rather than in the theater, and I actually learnt much from it. Was this review helpful? Sign In | ||
