Here is a note to all movie watchers DO NOT LISTEN TO THE CRITICS, EVER!!!
This movie is absolutely perfect. The performances were great especially Christian Bale. He delivered a great performance, as usual. I am so glad that he decided to do his own singing and dancing.WOW!!!. And the story was really good to its inspiring and gives you a great example of how people should hang together and fight for their rights. I gave it 5 stars,it deserves it.
And here is a note. I am in my teens so no, it is NOT boring at all. It is very entertaining. Was this review helpful? OMG! im sorry but dont you think jack was incredibly hot! i love him! oh and crutchy was so funny! ok but seriously if the people who rated this movie like those idiot crirics are reading this you are such idiots! uuugghhhh! oh well we dont need you ppl! so anyway! this movie was the best movie of all time!

The music is absolutely terrific- I'm still singing all the songs thirteen years later. The casting, I think, was great. What a diverse cast! Who knew Bill Pullman could sing? This is a great comfort movie, and it's not just for kids. The soundtrack is fabulous just by itself, too. If you haven't seen Newsies, I really think you're missing out. Was this review helpful? And Spot was incredible, and so was everyone else in this movie! It was so great! I can't believe the critics said it was worse than "Bye Bye Birdie," because that movie REALLY $@#%ed, we had to watch it in Music class so I would know. We also had to watch "Newsies" in music, but that was really great. ANd we were GOING to watch "newsies" in history, but then we didn't and it was really really sad. :-(. I hate Mrs. Jerutis! The dancing is awsome and I love the characters (not to mention the actors!). The songs are great; I loved them so much, I special ordered the soundtrack. Watch Newsies and I bet you'll love it too! I saw it once when i was about five and then again when i was about 14 or 15 and fell in love with it. The acting is great as well as the music and dancing. It isn't a corny musical like Grease, and it is one that everyone will love. I just can't stop watching it!! Nobady that I've talked to who has seen it didn't like it. Was this review helpful? The music was what first got me hooked. (when you're in fifth grade, they are just characters, when you get older, they're cute boys.) One of the best things about Newsies is the fact that there are so many characters in the story that it makes it more real. I love to watch Newsies just to look at the background: the extras, the non-speaking, yet key characters, the sets... Especially the important characters that are in the crowd, participating with their expressions and actions. They make the story more real. <br><br>Most would name this as a major flaw, but like any other movie, Newsies has some fun bloopers. For instance, in one crowd scene, one certain character is in the crowd, right behind the lead character, and when the camera changes, he's walking towards them. That, and all the other bloopers in Newsies are not noticeable unless you watch for it. It makes watching the movie more fun!<br><br>I enjoyed the acting, the choreography, the music, and the whole viewing and listening experience. Newsies has something for everyone, there's adventure, history, action, awesome music and dancing, a little bit of romance, and a wonderful story about the meaning of friendship, and fighting for your rights, all the while keeping it at a PG rating. Christian Bale was exceptional in his role in the Newsies. I bought the video, and have enjoyed watching it again and again. The acting was well done, and the story line was interesting, as well as informative. The singing and dancing made me want to watch it again. To top it off, both of my now teenage boys showed interest in the movies as well, and have watched it more than once. (They also received a history without even knowing it) I enjoyed Christian Bale so much in the Newsies that I have continued to make sure I see every movie that he is in. Sometimes I really wonder if the people being paid big bucks to review movies have any clue what an entertaining movie really is!! Was this review helpful? The language used was different but in a good way!My favourite scene in the movie was when Jack Kelly was singing Santa Fe. This really got to me. When hearing this, I felt so sorry for him, it was as if he was speaking directly to me.After researching this movie, I have come to learn that these actors did not know how to sing and neither dance. I fell in love with it just like that. The story line is pretty accurate (except for a few things) but the first time I saw it it instantly became my favorite movie of all time. This movie was awsome. I loved all the characters but my favorite character is David because HELLO David Moscow is HOT!!!! Anyways my favorite scene is the "Seize the Day" scene, because the dancing was just incredible. My friend and I have learned the dance to "Seize the Day" (Well kind of. This movie was awsome and like I said it has instantly became one of my favorite movie. I love all the characters. One of my friends gave me a quiz on the Newsies that she had found on the internet and I got every single one right. Anyways I love this movie and it defitally deserves 5 HUGE stars.
