Everything about this movie is perfect. Its one of the greatest Disney movies of 2004. And even in 2006, its still a hit with me. Having said that, if I were the one behind the camera, I wouldnt change anything about it. Its one of the greatest adventure movies ever. Nicholas Cage is great in this movie, as is everyone else. Cant say too much about the guy that played the bad guy, even though it looked as though he was already in a movie like this one. This movie has everything action, romance, drama. Sorry, no comedy. The part of the movie that seriously gets me motivated is the part when Ben, his dad, and his friends are in that tomb in the end, and he keeps thinking of how the map had a secret code. From there, he ended up finding the treasure in the room he was in. I just absolutely love movies like this one, and its worth every bit of five stars. Thats all I got for now. Im going to sleep. This movie is filled with action, comedy and a little bit of romance(it is PG though). It just proves that a great movie doesnt have to be rated PG-13 or R, and that Disney movies arent stupid or for little kids but truly family movies. GET OVER IT!!! it's nic cage for god sake! he ain't the best! the movie was funny, as everyone must admit. riley is the best character and has the best lines. the movie ws a bit over the top, but that's it's charm. good for family when it's a patriotic holiday. enjoy! btw, the head fbi agent is pretty funny too. With non stop action, suspence, comedy, and a hint of romance, I was caught from the very first scene and so were my companions. What I noticed most about this film was that there was no sex, no foul language, no blood and guts, and I think only one person died, and that was from a fall. Even the bad guys were funny , at times. I enjoyed it so much that I took my grandkids to see it. Disney did a great job on this one! Was this review helpful? Great fun, good laughs, and enough enxcitement to keep you interested. One of the better movies I have seen. My kids all loved it (ages 13, 15, 19) as well. Nicholas Cage Rocks!
