If you dont understand the premise, its explained at the beginning of the movie. Based on the fact that a mad scientist sends a man into space with three robots (Only two watch the movies with him- Crow and Servo, the third is named Gypsy) to drive him mad with watching horrible bad movies, they turn the situation into hilarious antics- by making fun of it! No matter how cheesy the plotline may seem, it is probably the greatest movie I personally have ever seen.
