Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  Swann Dive!Posted: 2/20/2003A review of My Favorite Year by lowellv70 A wonderful sendup profiling live television at '30 Rock',(NBC); during 1954 gleaned from the memoirs of an obscure comedy talent in his freshman year on ";Caeser's Hour";, by name of Mel Brooks, and the final TV appearance by ErrolFlynn; respectively. Very meticulous attention to detail, centering around a film star of the 40's swashbucklers trying to make a comeback and get his personal affairs in order with a little help from a freshman co-writer who is assigned to 'baby-sit' him. A first effort for Baker, the actor; and Benjamin, the director with a veteran cast. Very funny and very touching. Swann's Dance Partner: Gloria Stuart Was this review helpful?
