The characters were great and i loved the costumes and scenes but the music was just amazing. It's like the most top played on my iPod! It was really crazy at first but that's whst makes it so unique and beautiful. Everyone has to see this movie!!!!!!!! Was this review helpful? The first time i saw this movie was 4 years after the film was in theaters. I was amazed. nay shocked. It was the first GREAT movie Id seen since Save the Last Dance, The Lion King and Mulan.
The reason I liked it was because of all the WONDERFUL characters. Even if you think the rest of the movie ed, you (at least) become fond of Toulouse. I also liked the screen shots- even if they were a little bit fast at times. The songs were okay, but if you get tired of them i suggest you just concentrate on the screen, because there are some really beautiful shots. As for the plot, if youre a romantic, youll like it if not, I suggest you turn of the tv, ipod, computer or whatever and go get yourself some other film.
MOST OF ALL, decide for yourself if you like it- I LOVED IT, BUT YOU MIGHT NOT (well duhh). Was this review helpful? I could watch it all day long. Its a good romance story and very good acting. If you havent seen this get off the computer and watch it. It is really good and you wont be dissapionted. It is beautiful, funny, romantic, and wonderfully sad all at the same time. I fell in love with Ewan McGregor in this movie. By the end, all you hear is come what may.... come what may...etc and you are just sick of being flogged to death by it. However, it was shot brilliantly and the sets and costumes were so beautiful, you cant help but be affected by it. If the music were a little better, it would be one of my all-time favorites.
