The movie had a lot of action and unbelieveable action scenes. Some people are tired of Tom Cruise. To those that are - quit watching him!!! His smile lights up the picture screen and even when he is angry, he manages to smile. Ving is also great in this action picture. MI-3 was great, also. Ii hope Tom and Ving will make another MI-4 with Thandie Newton, because she was a great co-star. I have watched all of Tom's movies several times and he always manages to entertain his fans. I have yet to be disappointed or bored. Keep up the good work, Tom -I am awaiting your next movie. I'm sure it will be great!!!!!!! Was this review helpful? This movie was mainly about a disease named kymeara and if you get injected it, that person has only 20 hours to get the antidote "balerifont" or that person will die slowly and painfully. So when Ethan meets a girl that was a highly professional thief and she got infected with kymeara Shawn needed her to win all his money because the last part of kymeara is in the girl. Shawn got some of the disease out of her to take it in for DNA sample to tell the company of finding the antidotes for diseases that they have found the antidote for kymeara. Ethan stole the antidote in a very cool way and then he injected it into the girl and saved her life but Shawn was suppose to be dead when him and Ethan got into a fist fight and Shawn flew with his head on a rock. Then Ethan was heading to the girl when Shawn picked a gun up from the ground and pointing it to Ethan's back. Then Ethan picked up another gun on the ground and killed Shawn in a very cool way. Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) returns with a whole new mission and new crew. This film is adrenaline pumping. If you liked the first film, you'll love this one. Forget about the second!Posted: 4/20/2003A review of Mission: Impossible II by hockeybadboy019 After seeing the first one, I thought the second one would be great. However, I was thoroughly disappointed. I can sum it up by saying, THIS ONE $#^!ED BADLY! Don't get me wrong, Cruise and the rest of the actors were great, but everything from the script to the screenplay was terrible. This time he must stop a madman who wants to set a plague free on the world, only to profit from the sale of the antidote later. John Woo knows how to direct an action film. His use of slow motion camera work and big budget special effects make for a roller coaster ride throughout the film. Tom Cruise is cool as a cucumber playing IMF agent Hunt. And while many of the stunts are over the top, they're all in good fun and make for a grand old time. See it, and hang on to your safety bars. Was this review helpful?
