James Caan plays as a popular writer of "Misery" novels and when he has a car accident in the middle of nowhere in winter, Kathy finds him and brings him home, where Caan finds out she's a BIG fan. He is held hostage since he killed the main character and she wants him to write a new book. It turns into a type of cat and mouse game as Caan tries to write the book but look for escape too. But Bates is determined to keep him for herself, and has no intention of ever letting him leave. The acting is superb and this adaptation from Stephen King's novel is a great Hollywood film. Now that he is in her hands, she would never let him away until he finishes it off by her ideas in what happens next. Kathy Bates deserved the Oscar she got for best actress as she played the role so well, it couldnt have been any better. When it comes to the storyline, we thank Stephen King once again for his magical stories that end up being supercool movies. A MUST SEE EPIC! Was this review helpful? It's about a writer who gets in a car accident during a snow storm and his so-called '#1 fan' rescues him and demands him to write a book for her. The writer puts together all of the clues he finds along the way and figures out what she's really trying to do. It's a great movie to grab a bowl of popcorn and watch from beginning to end without any breaks. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-4 of 4 Per Page | ||
