Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful I think this movie could have been scarier...I don't like how it ended. It was descent & it is one of the best horrors lately, but not scary enough!!! It sure did pass the gore test though. It is worth it to watch it once, but never again... Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful If this movie was as short as the 30 second preview it would be good. Let me put it this way. Actually staring into a mirror for 2 hours examining your nose hair would be more frightening, and DEFINITELY more entertaining. I started doing my taxes I got so bored... Was this review helpful? If anyone needs some mirrors, mine are all on ebay! Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 8/25/2008A review of Mirrors by Bettyboodubai This film was fantastic. After reading bad reviews was expecting to be dissapointed, but no, was scared witless for the entire move. Love horrors, but this was one of the best, hope there is a sequel. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 1 users found this helpful Simply put, this is the best movie of its kind in many years. It was exciting, thirilling and best of all scary. Can't wait for the sequel. I really wanted to clap when it ended. Encore Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful I GIVE IT A 10! STARTS OFF A LITTLE SLOW EXPLAINING THE EX-OFFICERS LIFE. HE GETS A NEW JOB AS A SECURITY GUARD AND BEGINS TO SEE AND EXPERIENCE WIRED THINGS WITH THE MIRRORS. NOW IT BEGINS TO GET INTENSE. EXCELLENT MOVIE OVER ALL. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT. Was this review helpful? The premise sounded promising: a security guard at an old 'furniture' store starts seeing weird things in mirrors. Sounds great right? A good part of the movie did have you on the edge of your seat in anticipation; however, having avoided slasher movies all of my life, I was woefully unprepared for those ongoing scenes. If gaping wounds are your pleasure, be my guest; however, I am sorry I contributed to this movie's bottom line. Was this review helpful? Every aspect of what makes a scary movie terrifying is in Mirrors. You might not lose much sleep over it but you’ll think twice before walking past any mirrors after you watch this movie. As I looked around the theater, I noticed most of the crowd was either covering their face or turning away from the screen. After every scary scene, there was a common reaction throughout the audience “Oh my god, are you serious” or “No way that just happened”. Personally, I’ve been waiting for a horror movie like Mirrors. There’s no doubt that it rivals some of the scariest movies of all time. Was this review helpful? This movie was just the way I like it. It gave me some jumps, with the exception of the bathtub scene it wasn't bloody just for the sake of being bloody and it had a great mystery and twist. Great movie. I would recommend it to anyone who likes true horror/thrillers. Was this review helpful? The person I was with said, "no more R rated movies for me, too much blood."
The building were a lot takes place is very creepy. Liked that. One death was over the top as it was physically impossible, almost laughable. I enjoyed it, kept me wide eyed. Definitly not a boring movie. It is something new, can't think of a movie where mirrors were the villian. Well, I do remember 2 Stephen King movies where they looked in the mirrors and saw the backs of their heads. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful This movie kept me on the edge of my seat from the beginning right to the very end. It's gory, and It has an unexpected ending. The family was casted as a, todays American family. Which I like and feel that we need to see more of that.
The acting is great. The story makes sense and it is coherence. Was this review helpful? The overall feel I got from the movie was the it was too drawn out little understanding in the movie. But to keep it short it could have wanted for DVD. Not something for the horror fans.
