There is a habit in Hollywood movies where the star of a movie is always having marital problems, divorced, separated, widow or whatever. Even in Sci-Fi's this is an inescapable fact!. Sign In 1 out of 1 users found this helpful  Totally MAX.Posted: 1/22/2004A review of Minority Report by FaNtAkOsIa I thought that "Minority Report" was a very interesting movie with a new and interesting subject.People are not used to such movies as this.The idea of being forced to kill someone for a crime he didn't comit YET is a daring one.It makes the person watching the film wonder why a person should die like this.The idea may seem cruel at the beginning but at the end,however, it turns out to be the right thing to do.I enjoyed watching the movie alot especially Tom Cruise in a different character than that which we are used to seeing him as. I was pleased at the end of the movie. It should be given a chance to appear on T.V so that everyone can enjoy it. Was this review helpful? This was such a fantastic movie and I didn't expect it to be this good. A great storyline, awesome special effects, and a great performance by Tom Cruise. Spielberg has once again made another masterpiece. It's one of those movies that really make you think and probably one you can't leave for a few minutes. One of the best movies of all time. Sign In 2 out of 2 users found this helpful excelentPosted: 7/22/2003A review of Minority Report by ubik_h Although many of the details of the Phillp K Dick's story are earased , the film respects in a certain point of view the embiance of the story.<br><br>John Enderton is much older then we see in the Movie, the Precogs are not as we see in the movie as humains, they are more humanoids or some sort of living things that they can pre-see the futur. And far from been perfectionist John Anderton never touched a precog. <br><br>Beside those details the film is as everybody says a stylish very well art-designed. I recomend to read the short sory , the original (not the book from the film) ,before seeing the movie.<br><br>The thing that i liked the most on the movie is the interfaces, the machinery and the design of the futuristic look of a cinical, comercialized to the maximun sociaty. <br><br>Read the story and go see the movie and be prepare to immerse yourself in the strange but oh so excellent world of Phillip K. Those people just want their chick flicks. If you can accept the fact that the precogs can predict murders than you can watch this movie. From the very beginning it's suspensful and riveting. Every scene is there for a reason and has a part to remember. The beginning prevision was scary and intense; the car factory scene was original and that Lexus is awsome! Danny Witwer was suave in a way and cool. The scene in Leo Crow's (the supposed killer of John's son) appartment was a real nailbiter. Near the end at Lara's (John's exwife) cottage, Agatha (a precog) says the line that I will never forget, ";I'm sorry, John, but I'm afraid you're going to have to run again."; John says ";What?"; she says ";RRRUUUUNNNNN!!!!!"; Holy crap that was scary! The ending was fabulous. The precogs finish John's lines as he talks with the villain until one of them dies. I bought it on DVD after it came out and almost all of my friends have seen it and loved it. The bottom line, see Minority Report. You won't regret it! Was this review helpful?
