An amazing performance by Baldwin and by far his best acting, ever. The characters are all quite likeable in their ordinariness and they all revolve around Baldwins protaganist Junior Gottlieb-Fred Frenger.
As an ex-con and obvious sociopath Frenger simply seems to randomly find his way into trouble with the law in the form of Sgt Hoke Mosely (Ward) and also into the arms of a rookie call girl named Susie(Leigh). After stealing her from her pimp Pablo, Junior tries to give her the little house with a white picket fence she says she wants. Only he does it by stealing from other criminals and posing as Hoke (after beating him then stealing his badge and gun). This movie could almost be considered predictable from my description but you will find it anything but. Dont miss this one. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-1 of 1 Per Page | ||
