It is one of the most romantic story that I have ever watched with many scenes that I could watch again and again and again, such as the following:i) the scene where Katherine Hepburn played the piano with Annette humming the tune and Warren looking at Annette with love in his eyes and another kind of love when looking at Katherine (his aunt in the movie)ii) Children singing a lovely song while Annette was on the wheel chair singing along and using sign language in a dim lighted room.iii) When Warren went back to see his Aunt, Katherine, but she had already passed on, walking around her home reminiscing while the earlier tune in point (i) was played at teh background.iv) when Warren went to see Annette and Annette was sitting on the couch not getting out of the couch and Warren was feeling the strangeness on why Annette didn't event response to his visit, such as to greet him or to see him off. The conversation between Warren and Annette was very touching.Further to that, how Warren was discribing about a woman in a wheel chair who wanted his drawing taht he had left at the hotel and not knowing it was her, then he started seaching for the drawing in Annette's home and found the drawing. Only then he knew why Annette didn't meet him at the Empire State Building, and Warren went and sit next to Annette and talk. This is a movie worth buying to keep as we sometimes need to feel nostalgic and romance now and then.

that's when you should watch this movie.Turn off all the lights, and become engrossed.Annette is wonderful and serene. Warren is absolutely believable, his character always asking the question "; Where is she? "; without words. This movie is of course a classic when it comes to love stories and affairs of the heart. The characters are mature and so this movie appeals to the audience who has experienced adult relationships and the ironies that effect them.It seemed a little too easy for Annette to turn away from 'the other man in her life'. Not a lot of questions asked here. But it is, of course a movie. The most moving scene is when you know Warren has made a connection with the painting that now hangs in Annette's apartment. Even watching this for a second time, my heart beats faster at this scene. There was a dreamy effect in the lighting of the movie. It kept me mesmorized to the end...and a 'happily ever after' ending at that.
