(You can thank the eternally clueless WB executives for watering it down for us.)<br>However, compared to other attempts to recreate the Termite Terrace mayhem, this movie has come the absolute closest. What I like is that it incorporates the elements of every major director. The scene in the Louvre, Wile E. Coyote's role, the Acme corporation, as well as the Bugs & Daffy rivalry have Chuck Jones' stamp on them. Locklear's Dusty Tails character is an homage to Tex Avery's Red Hot Riding Hood. Heck, the entire Las Vegas sequence showcased the brutally violent nature that the best Friz Freleng and Robert McKimson cartoons possessed. Brendan and Daffy "on the road" represents the Bob Hope and Bing Crosby road movies that WB director Frank Tashlin created. And, of course, the element of only marginally paying attention to the narrative and going of on insane tangents for no apparent reason is the unmistakable contribution of Mr. Bob Clampett. (The Area 52 part was pure Joe Dante though). See, it's all there.<br>Unfortunately, one must already know that before entering the theatre which I'm sure most did not. That would explain some of the bad reviews given by people on this and other boards. My advice would be to read more about the gentlemen I just mentioned and see the movie again. You will witness it through a whole new set of eyes. Was this review helpful? I love the part where Daffy crashes the batmobile into the WB water tower and then it falls down and Kate's(Jenna Elfman)car is totally filled with water! Then there's Bugs acting like a fisherman and then he pulls out a fish and says,"Hey look! I found Nemo!" I also like the part where they're in Paris in front of the Mona Lisa and the card had the little x-ray and when they scanned the picture it showed the Mona Lisa in a bra! It was hilarious! Then I like the part where all in front of the place where they are all fighting to get the Blue Monkey and Taz is spinnin' around and then he farts and there's Bugs wearing a gas mask! That was disgusting but really funny."TWO THUMBS UP!" This is a must see movie for anybody who is a big fan of the Looney Tunes and for all ages."That's all folks!" Was this review helpful? And i wnt out thinking it was ok. Mostly every Steve Martin movie is a box office bomb. But if u ignore him its a good movie. The toons pretty much carried this the whole way through. Just about all your favorite LT cartoon characters make an appearance. Only the slow start and a too long fight scene near the end mar the otherwise good pacing of action and laughs. The cast is made up of enjoyable actors. A nice light diversion. It would be OK to see it on a TV screen. Was this review helpful? Why because this movie is for people that still get a spankin when they are bad. That is all I can say. If you are a teeager and want to watch this movie with your friends. Sign In 3 out of 4 users found this helpful  Looney TunesPosted: 11/23/2003A review of Looney Tunes: Back in Action by Smthwhtbot Great movie, voices are the worst ever done A very bad job done with the voices, Mel blanc and Mel blanc jr. are two of the best to have done Looney Tunes,(but not the only ones), and with digital editing Mel blancs voice could have been used To have used Mel Blanc voice for only the car was a shame, a sham, and a joke, (a very bad joke), There are others who do the voices well, but they were not used either!
