Date  Helpful Rating 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  Missed the point entirely...Posted: 1/27/2005A review of Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde by ThatCrazyCanadian This movie was highly disappointing...not because it wasn't funny, because it was very amusing most of the time, but because it missed the entire point of the first movie! The first movie was trying to prove that women can be gorgeous AND smart...the second movie made all the women look like horrible ditzes. I really think Paulette was the disappointment in this movie...when did she become such an idiot? She was definitely not graceful in the first movie, but she was never a complete flake. All in all, I wanted to love this movie as much as I loved the first one, but I really didn't. Was this review helpful? This movie was funny and women all over the nation should laugh, but it also put's down women. I think if the catch line wasn't that women were dumb and ditzy, this movie would be a five star! I mostly didn't like the trouble she got into for her dog, it was a bit lame. Although I really like how the story turned out, that the person she trusted was infact not trustworthy and so on. And also how Elle gets married then. Oh and I really liked that part were the judge turned out to be a Delta Nu sister and they did that dance thing, it was really fun actually. Sign In 0 out of 1 users found this helpful A not so good sequel of Legally BlondePosted: 1/4/2004A review of Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde by cindylou12_43 After watching Legally Blonde 2:red,white,and blonde I thought that it was not as good as the previous one.I find that the second film was well made but I did not enjoy it as much as the first one.In the second film there are less dumb blonde jokes and more of the plot based on Elle Woods dog,Bruiser Woods,because the film is all about illegalizing cosmetic testing on dogs and to free Bruiser's mother so that she can come to Elle's wedding.Once again in this movie there are people who are rude and unkind to Elle but then after realizing that she isn't just a dumb blonde they become her good friends and they help her out in her case to free the animals that are being tested on for cosmetics.Over all it is a moderate film but I would rather go and see the first Legally Blonde film again than have to see the second one.<br><br> Lisa Jackson Was this review helpful? It had it's lame points. Like all movies (esception of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings,Matrix etc) this movie wasn't as good as the first. Elle hires a private eye to find the mother of her dog Bruiser, in order to invite the mother dog to her wedding. Elle claims she found her dog on the street, he was running his own 3-card Monty stand (complete with pictures of the dog in front of his minoature table with cards). That might be funny and believable if you were a five-year old child, but if I'm not mistaken this movie was supposed to be aimed more towards teens/college kids with all the sorority stuff.
