Lindsay Lohan should just do everyone a favor and get out of Hollywood? Now that she has become the resident slut, I am sure she will get lots of movie offers! This movie was horrible. What is she, like 18? Why is she in this movie? With the way she acts in the movie, she should be in Muppet Babies, or something. Total waste of time... Was this review helpful? Sign In 5 out of 5 users found this helpful lucky lindsayPosted: 6/7/2006A review of Just My Luck by Jamison6691 this typical, predictable, over exagerated, chick flick...but it worked. it was hard to think of lindsay lohan as a successful 20-some-year-old bussiness woman because we are so used to seeing her play a younger role. some believe she wasnt ready, but i think she stepped it up in this movie. it was very predictable, but cute all at the same time. the bad (mcfly) was great and though the odds of her finding him in a huge city like new york is slim to none, i was happy when she did. this would be a great movie to go to for girls night out. it was a fun, feel-good movie, that kept you laughing the whole time. I think I lost a couple brain cells afterward. The plot is boring and predictable. Lohans a good actress but everyone else was horrible. If this were her first Hollywood movie, shed be a nobody and probably never get another role again. Im embarassed to say I saw it opening weekend (didnt want to write a review because I was trying to forget I even saw it) and there were only about 3 other people other than my friend and I. That should have given me a clue. People that thought this was cute and adorable or in the least bit funny, need to be psychologically tested. Youll enjoy this one if you thought Gigli was brilliant. But my friends wanted to see it, so I agreed. Im glad I did, because it surprised me and turned out to be cute, light-hearted, and pretty funny. Its not on anyones future list of classics, but its got just enough luck to be a winner in the ways of comedy, chemistry, and cuteness. Chris Pine is also great, as he was in Princess Diaries 2. Maybe a kiss from Lindsey Lohan is what the doctor ordered? After all when we went to attend the screening of the film earlier tonight it was Just My Luck that the usher didnt have the complete press list in his hand. Thankfully fate in the form of a talented PR agent, not unlike Lohans character in the film, stepped in and the situation was resolved quickly, but was actually seeing the movie a bit of good fortune or just another notch in a day filled with bad luck?
If you thought Just My Luck was just a light, fluffy romantic comedy you have pretty much hit the nail on the head. If it wasnt for the vivacious star it would be the chick flick that would make guys who have been duped by their lady friend into seeing the film grind their teeth in bitter agony. Though the film is a bit of a puff piece and serves as a much needed boost to Lohans career, which has been tarnished a bit as of late, there is no denying that the film is as entertaining as it is inconceivably stupid......

It was also really funny. I would definitely recomend it. I think that Lohan shouldnt try to act that old just yet though. She still looks like a teen. But other than that, it was sooo awesome.
