It was just a bad movie, I give it 2 because i like dinasours, and the 2nd park movie was cool too. How did the guy in the parachute thing die? and the kid survived? I never got that part! Before I went to the theatre, I read a couple of reviews that said it was a good movie and was better than the second. I actually saw a couple of 3 out of 4 star reviews. The movie started off pretty good…but after the first 30 or 45 minutes, it went to complete hell. The coolest part of the movie was a fight between two dinosaurs. Anything and everything after that is just laughable and embarrassing. There are just too many things in this movie that made me cringe. I have actually argued with friends that this is the worst movie ever made. Some people say “Suburban Commando” is the worst movie ever made…or even “Glitter”, but this one definitely takes the cake. The point where I almost crapped my pants was when the little kid talks about how he gathered T-Rex urine to scare away other dinosaurs. “Trust me, you don’t want to know how I got this.” I believe that was how his line went; or something close to that. I almost vomited with rage at that point. It gets worse after that…a lot worse. Now I hear they’re planning to make Jurassic Park 4 and 5. Are you kidding me? My guess on how the future Jurassic Park movies will turn out: the dinosaurs will be forced off the islands by ompa-loompas and then it will be set in the year 2470 and the dinosaurs will be flying spaceships. Too bad; the first Jurassic Park was really good. Was this review helpful? Sign In 2 out of 3 users found this helpful just what the audience orderedPosted: 8/31/2003A review of Jurassic Park III by redhead8793 let me start out by saying that no sequel to jurassic park will ever live up to the original. but the third installment is still great fun to watch. true, the plot may be very weak, but the action more than makes up for it. good acting, good directing, and great action. if you are looking for astrong action movie that is nothing but fun, then give this one a watch. better than the lost world by far. i strongly recomend. With a whole new look, new cast members and some old favorites, Jurassic Park III should make us all remember how great it was seeing the first. Jurassic Park III however did not add up to what most thought it would be like. There is a great impression set by the new dinosaurs and cast, which make this a try-to-see movie. If you're a Jurassic Park fan, you'll want to see this to complete certain parts of the trilogy's story. Was this review helpful? The story line is relatively weak, and I can't beleive they ditched the God of dinosaurs (T-Rex) like that! It's horrible! Jurassic Park the original is a classic, its wonderful, why did they disgrace it with this trash? At one point in the movie, Alan is having a dream and he turns and a raptor is next to him and says ";Wake up Alan";, i was crying i was laughing so hard. It was so incredibly corny.
