Date  Helpful Rating 2 out of 2 users found this helpful  Stupid PeopleThe problem with almost all of you is the simple fact that you think Ernest Dickerson created this movie to show you how life is on the streets like the creator of boyz in the hood. Well that isnt true, you see four boys with baggy jeans and fitteds and ASSUME that all of a sudden the creator or director is trying to tell you how life is in the hood. The hood is what white people created in their little heads to seperate their upscale lives from others. Hint to all of you, you are no different. This movie is about power and how it can overcome a life long friendship. This movie is about four friends who grew up together and do everything together and for the first time they dont all agree on it. This movie is about a man who holds a gun and feels like thats all he needs to survive in life, and that if you dont know how to defend yourself then your worthless, its about four different views on life. The question in the end is really What are you really willing to give up to get some Juice? Does Power mean that much to you, and if it does what have you tried to earn some of it?

Not everyone can understand the message being brought out of the movie... so they make up their own... thinking that their guess is as good as any other. They are completely wrong. Juice is a story about four boys who were closer than the average family... they were their family. Power and Moral Ethic seperate them as Bishop (Tupac) gets trigger happy... thinking that he now has the juice, not knowing how badly he lost the one thing he had to live and breathe for... his three brothers. Q (Omar Epps) was the closest to Bishop... and in the end, it's an internal fight between good and evil. I give this movie 5 stars and if i could i would give it 10. No offense to the "white" media... but they wouldnt know street life if the spent one day in the REAL hood, instead if their hollywood mansions... so critics, i beg of you to understand the STRENTGH of street knowledge. When you think about it, a song from the soundtrack "Know the ledge" speaks about that entireley. Put know and ledge together and what do you get? Knowledge thats what. Was this review helpful?
