They run their own charity called "Change for the Children Foundation". In 2007, JB earned around 12 million and donated 10% of that earning to that charity. They established the charity to support programs that motivate and inspire children to face adversity with confidence, determination and a will to succeed. They signed a guitar for an auction to raise money for Revlon/Run/Walk for Woman. They joined with Miley Cyrus for a special concert benefitting "City Of Hope" in Los Angeles. Nick is now also a diabetes ambassador with Bayer to promote the idea of young people to manage their diabetes. They also garnered $450,000.00 more for their charity "Change for the Children Foundation". They also played at the The North American International Auto Show to benefit a charity. They are all also Power of Youth Ambassadors for St. Jude Children's Hospital. No, this is not all that they do, there is still more. I also believe they donated to a coat charity that helps cloth children in the winter, Joe even donated his own coat that he was wearing. Don't say that they don't give because they obviously do. They have a right to the money that they worked for along with the right to spend it how they please just like the rest of us. As for the movie, it was so stunningly real. I was uncomfortable the entire time and will now express my thoughts of the movie for you.
Right now millions of children accross the globe are dying of starvationand the Jonas Brothers don't care about them. Jonas Brothers just want the money from young impressionable children who have yet to experience the wonders of music and film. This movie clearly states throughout its awful production that cunsomption of Jonas Brothers products is the only way to achieve social status for the youth of today.
I was horrified to watch these three in 3-D villiiany beg, bark and beckon to mere children for money.
The very thought of the time wasted producing this film makes me sad for the future generations to come. Too often we as a society neglect the homeless, the battered, the underprivalged and misfortunates. This films promotes the idea that fun without consequences will make you happy.
I must remind those that see this movie that there are better ways to spend your currency and time. Why not help your local homeless shelter instead of seeing this movie. Take a walk to the old folks home and share your time with an older genreation. Enter the local hospital and give treats to the dying children. The Jonas Brothers only want your money and attention. Perhaps you will find the oppurtunity in your soul to give of yourself to those that truely need your love and devotion. Was this review helpful? I'm 40 and took my son to the movie. It was excellent, it exceeded my expectations. We never got to see them live and now I feel as if we have. I could not be more proud that this is who my son is listening to. He thinks they are awesome and so do I. I think the writer of the review from The Associated Press sounds ridiculously sarcastic and almost jealous. These boys have fame and fortune that anyone would desire....don't be jealous, they're JB and they have years of entertaining to do! xo D and A Was this review helpful?
