It did have some torcher scenes, but luckly it still stuck with the movie. I liked it until the part where iron man fights the robot. That part was kind of boring. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1 out of 1 users found this helpful Best movie of the year!!I would not have cast Robert Downey Jr. in this roll. Maybe Ryan Reynolds ... But he proved me wrong. He pulls off Tony Stark remarkably well. Jon Favero directs as he always does, VERY well. This movie is a delight from start to finish. I drug my wife with me and she (to her amazement) enjoyed it as well. This is the best movie I've seen since AUGUST RUSH. This is the best superhero movie I've seen since BATMAN RETURNS. I can't wait for IRONMAN II or JUSTICE LEAGUE, or WOLVERINE ... whichever comes first!

This first installment of probably a couple more to come, explains the comic and non comic orientated viewers what Iron Man is all about. Later we are going to experience what most of the Marvel movies have in common, and that is to form the Avengers. Iron Man is definitely the summers blockbuster.
