It is very adventurous and a mild expression of action. There was a pretty far range of talking in this movie and one chase scene that was ok. Go see it but dont keep your hopes too high because there is a chance you might not like it. Was this review helpful? We have since began viewing the other movies too. Since my grandson is only 5 years old, he could not express his feelings on anything but dressing like him everyday. He is never going to let Indiana Jones die. He has the whole outfit and the movie has opened up many new ideas for him to share. We all enjoyed it. Let's don't forget that he also liked Mutt, whom he has his costume too. His admiration for Indy is the best hero a little boy could have. Since Indy is a teacher ---and Gabe is a Pre-K student---we make the connection of importance of school and learning. So thanks for the adventure and a clean---decent movie. There are too many things out there for little boys to admire and I find this one is great for him. In our book, the movie and the whole Indy idea has been great for our family.So since we are Spell's we remain Spellbound. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  The Crystal CrapPosted: 1/25/2009A review of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull by troyh2012 First of all, this movie was flat out terrible. the only reason it has such good reviews is because of the young kids in todays era who haven't seen the originals liked it. if you have seen the first, second, and third movie and have not seen this one. don't expect much. this movie had a horrible story, script, and special effects. the only thing iliked was that harrison ford can still play as indiana jones. other than that this movie *^*#ed. its good to see indy back but the story *^*#s. Why on earth would you put aliens in a indiana jones movie. Its almost like they couldnt figure out how to end the movie so they just threw in somthing completly stupid. This movie does not hold a candle to the first 3 Indiana Jones movies. It seems like no one knew quite what to write and so they just borrowed from numerous other movies and from the earlier Indy movies. The story was cool, the location was awsome and the flow was typically outrageous but that was where it was fun. Ignore the dipsticks that don't know good when they see it. This time with his sidekick, Mutt (Shia LeBuof) and his former love-heart, Marion (Karen Allen), Indy goes on a race to find the Crystal Skull of Akator from the rusty hands of the Soviets, which the crystal skull's power can fullfill the minds of one who puts it back in its right resting place with information on the coming future and steal information for a human's mind. As some people dislike the type of ET-creatures and absene of the series with this movie, I believe it is the best movie of 2008, Thomas and the Great Discovery no. 2. Its crazy action and understandable storyline, to me, makes me feel I'm in the 80s. It is that excellent. Even that word can't explain how good it is! Was this review helpful?
