Horrible direction, bad musical score, horrid editing leads to painful-to-watch acting and wow pretty scenerary oh wait the cinematogropher had no sets. The dialouge almost hits *witty banter* but the failure of the director to preserve mood from the first scene shocks the viewer into a sudden sleep. You would think a tourist with a camera followed some actors around europe but you realize someone was paid to film this mistake.

I thought this was Colin Farrels best work yet. I thought the plot was original and kept pace with the scenery. I originaly went to see the movie to revist some stunning pictures of Bruge, but was pleased to witness a movie that utilized the surroundings as only a backdrop. The story and character development kept you laughing at some of the most unusual situations. I found myself feeling sorry for a sociopathic pair of hit men and the unusual people they encountered. I totally enjoyed this movie.

This is a very, very good movie. It is amazing what actors as talented as Colin Farrell can do if they can remain focused and stay sober. I loved this movie; everything about it was fresh and different. A must see if you like dark English humor and something entirely non-PC and irreverent.

First off let me say I enjoyed this film emensely as I am English and the dark sometimes irreverent humor was exactly my cup of tea, although the Americans in the theater where laughing at things then asking each other what was said?it was a little over the top when the violence occured, people getting shot and dying in the main square and not one policeman in sight, although Ralph Fienes played his part as the menacing gang boss with aplomb. Yes the plot is a bit weak and wanders a bit but if you take it all with a pince of salt and remember that it is just a film then you will find it very entertaining, the comedy moments are very funny, but please remember to take a translator with you as some of the lines may be hard for some to understand, just go see it
