Its smart, witty, intelligent, funny, bubbly, and just all out romantic..this movie just makes u smile everytime Kate does something stupid or Matt just tries to woo her in, while still trying to do his own little scheme..They make one of the best on-screen couples ever. The chemistry is just definately there and you can feel the sparks flying! they were definately fit for the part, and i think the casting director made an excellent choice of choosing them. I really do hope I get to see more of the on-screen couple together in more movies to come. This movie is just the cutest thing to watch atleast once a week. Its something where you can sit down with ur guys friends and girlfriends and have both sexes enjoy it. The story of the movie was so adorable..i just LOVED it. Was this review helpful? Hudson lacks this little thing called talent. I cannot believe that people still cast her for movies.
In this movie, any guy with a brain would have kicked Hudson to the curb when she started giving a him hard time. That Mat guy kept putting up with Hudson's ludicrous behaviour during the movie. That Mat guy did a very poor job acting in this movie. He basically stood around grinning like a jackass eating thistles.
Mat and Hudson made a great team to use in a movie like dumb and dumber. The sad part is they were not trying to be dumb and dumber. Was this review helpful? After all people have been sued for things like that or less." So, I found that to be rather far-fetched. Also, after they parted from the dinner party in anger, I looked forward and waited for the moment that they'd meet up at the last Knicks game. The fact that each had his/her own ticket hinted that this would happen. So, that was a let down when it did not. At first, I found the scene when they were in the movies to be rather over-played. I know she was trying to push him away, but did she have to act like a COMPLETE IDIOT? I mean did she actually have to put the man into a situation which led to him being punched? My thoughts were deminished when I saw how much he was enjoying her breasts as cushions. So, overall I really enjoyed the movie. In fact, I have grown to enjoy every bit of the movie. So much so, that I watch it at least once a week for a good laugh.<br>Both actress and actor played their roles superbly. I would like to see more of them, together, as well as in separate roles. The other members of the cast also played their roles very well. The scene where her co-worker\friend played the counselor and the scene with his family were great. Hope there will be a Part 2. I could see by the trailers that it was going to be a typical chick flick, which I never go for, so I certainly didn't see it in the theater. But I thought it would be good for at least a cheeseball romantic comedy. A sort of blank, feel good movie that you forget within minutes. I'm sorry to say I can't forget it. The bad acting, poor script, and nonexistent plot have stayed in my memory far too long. And just because I'm criticizing it doesn't mean I'm some pseudo-intellectual, pretentious jerk who only watches indie films. My taste in movies has a very wide range. But this was just BAD. The actors had no chemistry whatsoever, the storyline was stupid (the trailers told the entire thing in 30 seconds so there was no reason to go through an hour and a half of this excruciating torture), and it had that awful cheap lighting that makes everything look like it's pastel even when it's not. I hated this movie. I now hate all the actors, producers, directors, studios, set designers, gaffers, cameramen, and anyone else who had to do with this trainwreck. It was AWFUL!
