I thought it was actually pretty good. Someone said the graphics are horrible?? I dont see that. The graphics are fine. It is supposed to be like that. I think they meant to make it look the way it does on purpose.
Its kinda boring and confusing at first because they keep going back and forth as each individual tells their version of the story, but it does get better... a lot better. As the story starts makin more and more sense, it gets more interesting.
Granny kicks ass. The funniest part of the movie is when Granny reveals her secret identity as a extreme sports thrill seeker. She snowboards, skis, skateboards, and not to mention all her trophies. ahahaha Woohoo.. Go Granny!!!
Also, the soundtrack is incredibly awesome. This movie can be compared to some of the other animated movies that I have recently seen, such as Over the Hedge, Barnyard, Opean Season, Happy Feet, etc. This is a fun movie. GO RENT IT AND WATCH IT!!! ITS WORTH WATCHING... and the movie is also pretty short (1 hr and 20 mins). Was this review helpful? Little Red Riding Hood A classic story, but theres more to every tale than meets the eye. For this story, we begin at the end. Furry and feathered animal cops investigate a domestic disturbance at Grannys house, involving a girl, a wolf, and an axe. The charges are many breaking and entering, intent to eat, and wielding an axe without a license. Not to mention, this case might be tied to the elusive Goody Bandit who has been stealing the recipes of goody shops everywhere.
There is a lot going on in this movie there are a lot of different stories. And it all comes together.
I love Movies and TV shows that are about a bunch of people who have different stories and each of the people have a connection and the stories all somehow come together, and on some level that is what Hoodwinked does.
I loved the way Hoodwinked uses Beautiful color and sound to make it come to life. The whole movie is really told in memory or flashback from hours before the crimes. The detective sits everyone down and they tell there story and that is pretty much the whole movie.
Hoodwinked is a movie made for children lets say between the ages 5-11 but it is a movie any adult will enjoy. There are some laughs and this movie. Hoodwinked was going for funny but at times it was not funny I thought of the movie as a kids crime drama. Even though I figured out who the culprit who young kids will laugh and have fun trying to figure it all out. (Just like in all the other crime movies it is always the cute little one)
Hoodwinked is somewhat funny but has a really good story.
Hoodwinked is a movie that means well. And will gets some laughs.

They took parts from tons of other movies, so youre kept guessing. The story plot was definately for kids, but my whole family and everyone I know loves it. Funny laughs, though some joke were unorginal and cliche, they do fit in the movie. Everyone needs to stop comparing it to Shrek. Its HOODWINK not a spinoff from Shrek. If you want to go see a funny movie like Shrek... why not watch Shrek again. You cant enjoy a movie if you expect it to be like something else. Get this through your head... THIS IS HOODWINK NOT SHREK!
The movie is funny, the character are funny, but there are jokes that some young children may not get. It appeals to all audiences though it can be predictable... but hey its a childrens movie.

The humor in the movie appeals to those with the taste for it while some of the laughs may be cliche, they are appropriate when used and the allusions, if one is knowledged enough (as far as names, titles, other movies etc. etc.) are indeed funny.
My nephews loved it, though they enjoy most electronic stimulae, but nonetheless funny nonetheless. If you plan on watching it, which you should, cast aside all those Shrek comparisons floating about and watch it for it is animated entertainment. Was this review helpful? I thought this movie would be funny, but man was I wrong. I wound up being bored, and falling asleep to a movie I wish I would have never paid money to see...If you are even considering going to this movie, think again read the bad reviews they really are true.
