It has a real christmasy feel to it and a lot of comedy before and during the attempted robbery. Culkin is at his best in both 1 & 2. At age 11 and 13(?), he provides a timeless family/Christmas classic to be celebrated every Christmas season (at least!). Both myself and friends have continually watched both films, specifically #1, since their release and will continue to do so till the end of time.
