Harrison Ford is sleep-walking through his role, Josh Hartnett appears to be there only as eye-candy for the teenybobbers and the story is so lame that by the end you really don't care how it all ends up. I saw this on an airplane and after it was all over complete strangers became friends while discussing how awful this movie was.

I thought that this movie was awesome! Of course it had Josh Hartnett in it so there are two thumbs way way up! My favorite sceene from the movie is when Josh comes home to find one of his Yoga students in his hot tub! It is a good movie about detective life, and i think there is nothing wrong with it. So my advise to those parents out there who like to check the reviews on a movie before they let their child watch it is, chill out!! Losen up, have faith in your child, if it is that bad they won't watch it!! They do listen!!

By far one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Clearly neither Harrison Ford nor Josh Harnett had anything better to work on at the time. I sat through half of the movie, hoping for something worth watching. What I saw instead was bad comedy and absurd situations take place, such as Harrison Ford answering his mobile telephone time and time again while being questioned by police. In summary, this is as bad a movie as they come. Unbelievable. Folks, if you have not seen it, don't waste neither your money nor your time.

It was an overall good movie. It starts off slow, but really heats up and gets fuuny and action-packed. The script and the story line could of been better, but Ford and Hartnett work well together. GOOD MOVIE!

The movie was slow and lacked decent humor. I saw it on a flight and was very glad to have brought my own headphones. I would have felt ripped off if I had paid the $5 to rent theirs.

This movie was ok. They make it sound like it has a lot of action, but really it's only talking. And here's the worst part: they even censore the songs in the background!

Absolutely awful movie. What was Ford thinking? Stupid plot. Ford actually looked rediculous in this movie. Harntett was OK.

This one takes a little while to get off the ground. Ended up a decent rental.

I was having a bad day and this film cheered me up. I have never seen a movie with Harrison Ford that was that funny. I laughed so hard I almost cried.

This was the best movie I have seen this year. There was never a dull moment. The comedy was great. The action was there. I really don't understand why it got any bad reviews. I thought it was excellent!

Harrison Ford and Josh Hartnett are probably one of the best duos I've ever seen. Their chemistry works so well in "Hollywood Homicide" that it could very well be as good as the "Lethal Weapon" movies.
The movie is about 2 cops, Joe Gavilan (Ford) and his young partner K.C. Calden (Hartnett). Both are part of the homicide division working on a case in which 5 rappers were killed in a night club. But they have a lot more problems than that.
See the two also have secondary jobs. Galivan is also a real estate agent who's courting a radio psychic. Calden is a yoga teacher who dreams of becoming an actor. Put all this together, and you have a hilarious action-comedy.
While most of the movie may be good, I think it still needed some cutting. Some parts seem as though they were put in just to slow the movie down, like a couple of sex scenes and other conversations. But past all that, "Hollywood Homicide" is a very thrilling, very funny movie.
P.S. That verdict is unsure. It'd be good on T.V. too.

The trite and overused joke of a ringing cell phone was enough to turn anyone off from this movie. That, however, was only one component of this mediocre outrage some may refer to as a movie. I strongly suggest that fans of Harrison Ford not see this film, as it will make you hate him with a never-dying passion that will consume your very human soul.
