It was along the same concept but had nothing to do with the show at all. If you use exactly the clips of another show at least bring it all together as why it was used and how it relates to the movie. Was this review helpful? If you have played any of the Hitman games, rent it, it was made for us. I was very entertained. I didn't know what to think of Olyphant, but he pulled it off really well (he has the right shaped head). He was cool in The Girl Next Door and his whit played well for this character. The chick is also hott in dirty, ex-prostitute way. Definetly worth watching Was this review helpful? Sign In 1 out of 1 users found this helpful Dark Angel flashbacksDid anybody recognize that the flashback of the children going through their training were all clips from Dark Angel. What a rip off!! A TV series about genetically engineered soldiers. I mean not only did they base this off a video game, but they couldn't even come up with their own scenes but take them from a TV show. And it didn't even make sense...they show them training and then trying to escape. It was the worst waste of time. Was this review helpful? I find it amusing that someone gets paid to review these films and to what end? Im sure that a negative review effects the box office and DVD sales. I have never decided not to see a film based on a critic's review. Aditionally I'll buy the DVD when it's released next month.
It's difficult to please evryone when adapting a game to film. Just look at the Tomb Raider movies. If anything it will be a good addition to my Hitman game collection. RE2 is an exception and mortal combat followed well. THIS MOVIE WAS OUT OF MY MIND ANNOYING! if it were me...as one of the agents sent to not only kill another agent but to be killed in the process...i would join up and KILL THE BASTARDS WHO HIRED US! but...thats just me...not to mention...I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE STORY! one minuet you're killing the guy who hires you and then he's alive and then you are on a hunt to find the guy who hired you and then you kill the guy who hired you and...thats it...there is no point for him to hire him...to kill him...why? WHERE IS THE POINT!? really. AND BY THE WAY...to whoever posted the suggestion that (since i didnt like the movie) i am a "FAG" who are you to tell me what i can and cannot like? sure there were some things that slowed it down like 47's somewhat romance with the hooker but that was part of the movie's story it was not attempting to win any Oscars it was just a movie that men not guys but men would like such as 300 and the die hard movies anybody who didnt like this movie didnt like the video game or was a FAG Was this review helpful? Sign In 1 out of 1 users found this helpful better than I expectedI was dragged to this movie, uninterested in it completely; but I was pleasantly surprised that I actually found myself enjoying it. The first few minutes were almost agonizing, in that I was turned off by 47's acting, which borders on wanna-be clint eastwood. But after getting into the flick, his poor acting didn't bother me much more. The story made a good turn, which kept me interested. It was actually a pretty good film with quite a bit of action that wasn't too far over the top. It almost got ridiculous for a moment at the harem in Istanbul, but it kicked back and remained stable. If you aren't one for comic book flicks, then don't think to watch it. But if you like eurostyle action with some unfamiliar faces, and good entertainment, check it out. I think this film was definitely underrated, as there are no hugely successful actors headlining. I found it more understandable and entertaining than 007 flicks. I suppose you could say it's a bit like a La Femme Nakita, or the Proffesional. Was this review helpful? When I go to a movie that I know is based on a comic book or game I dont expect a ton of depth. This movie actually gave me more than I was expecting. Tons of action, decent acting, a smoking hot love interest, and a story line easy to follow. I read the critic review and wonder what he was expecting when going to a movie called hitman, gone with the wind? If your in the mood to ooh and ahh, see some explosions, and oogle a hottie... than this movies for you. I had a great time. Was this review helpful? You can really tell he studied Hitman as well as added his twist to it. The movie was fast paced and action packed, granted the video game isnt full of that much action but also that depends on how you play it. They did a good job mixing it in between stealth and action. Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Awesome movie!!I hate "chick flicks" and don't really like all of the "feelings" movies out there, at the same time, Hitman wasn't a movie I wanted to pay money to go see. Was I wrong! It was awesome, the kind of movie that never gets boring. For the first time in a while, I sat and watched an entire movie without wanting a cigerette break, or wanting a particular scene to get over with. The movie is wonderful, the characters seem real, and the plot is amazing. Critics are wrong in giving it such a low rating. I loved it, and hope a ton of people go out and watch it.
