If you have, then you know what they're like; how the kids struggle through the play, how the storyline is simple and predictable, and how the best thing that can be said is that at least the kids are cute. Take that image, add 20-year-olds preteding to be in high school, and you have High School Musical.
Those of you who are 'teens' and 'tweens', I see where your coming from when you proclaim that High School Musical , like, soo totally ROCKED! You're the franchises' target audience; that's what you're supposed to think. Of course you think the songs are origonal, the message is unique, and Vanessa Hudgens is talented; you don't know any better. You're just proving yourself the bland little lemming you were meant to be. Those of us who aren't deaf recognize HSM as a predicatable, trivial waste of time, money, and effort (although none really should have been put in at all.) THere is nothing specail about this movie; no talent, no origonaility, no remarkability. The only good thing that can be said for it is that there will only be one more movie. I ended up owning the CD, the movie, and the book. I cant wait till High School Musical 2 comes out 2007!! Its proboly not gonna be better than the frist ill get everything of it anyway!!!!!this video was good and the songs are amazing! Now i may try out next year for our school musical. the cast was very interesting i never knew ashley tisdale was a good singer. i wanna get a cell phone with itunes and get every song on it. youll love this movie, trust me, really.I think that this was the best movie ever...The reason why I said that is because the movie was so dramatic and it had some crazy people and I really liked it especially when everyone came together and sang the song were all in this together.I also liked the part. The casts were perfect coz . Anyway, even if you hate Disney Channel, you should totally watch this movie coz it shows friendship, love and how you cant get it your way everytime (Sharpay..lmao).. So, if youre a kid,teen or anyone for that matter, just find out what time it repeats and watch it!! The songs are also awesome..Dance steps were quite cool too..And i think its great that they all ended up friends and Sharpay FINALLY accepting the fact that she has to be a substitute! Over all, THIS MOVIE ROCKED!!!!!!!!!I thought it was much cooler than most Disney movies, but if you are a boy, over 16, and-or hate disney do NOT watch this movie. I thought it was great, and Zac Efrons not bad either!!!) But if your around your teens like me it has to be the greatest movie ever. I love the whole idea about their life sort of being like a musical. Also, its definitely a plus that ZAC EFRON is in it. lol. Some parts are a little unbelievable but hey you cant make an awesome movie without adding a little fiction right. Anyway this movie is the greatest and if your between 1-100 hahaha BUY IT!! Ill try. The people at Disney that okayed this sad excuse for a television movie must have been high when they greenlighted it. What makes me so mad is that so many people are raving about it. Its no where as socially adhesive as Grease was and still is. High School Musical paints a totally incorrect picture of real high school which will eventually dawn on the 3-11 year olds that really like this movie. There is no such thing as jocks breaking down steryotypical boundaries, no there are not sing a longs in the cafeteria, and no, in really life, two people that really love each other dont go that long without sharing as little as a kiss. High School Musical is so G it makes me sick. The actors in this movie dont really sing which is even funnier to laugh at their lack of talents, that including acting ability. The only reason High School Musical has gotten as far as it has is becasue of the support of those too young to actually understand what high school is and their obedient parents that shell out the 15 or so dollars it cost to buy a High School Musical soundtrack.
