The premiss for this show isnt unheard of but the painstaking care in detail and storyline is unequalled. You cannot go through an episode without relating to at least one of the charactors. I sure hope not. There are not many shows I TIVO and watch every week and cant wait for the next. This is the best show I have seen in a long time.The plot still is expanding, the chars still developing its just awesome. Live long and prosper! It was nice to see George Tekai again. Just a great show. This show could easily jump the shark but as of now its still the best drama-action show TV has to offer. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful A new breed of HerosPosted: 11/20/2006A review of Heroes [TV Series] by Anonymous I have to admit I didnt have big hopes for this show, when I first heard of it I had no real clue of what it was even about. Then I found out it was another Mutant show. Immediatly a Mutant X clone came to mind. But I decided to give it a shot. Needless to say I was blown away, as I watched the first few episodes, I sat on the edge of my seat and when the credits rolled I wanted to kick my TV. I didnt want to have to see what was going to happen. I wont bore you with a breakdown of the characters or story. But I will tell you it is one of the best shows I have ever seen. Sure the characters are basically Mutants But they seem very real, and believable. The actors are phenoninal and the writing is superb. Each episode just seems to build more and more of a great story (Something very rare in modern Drama, since virtually all shows are wrapped up in a hour) Each gives you just enough information to keep you involved but not enough so you can go Oh I know whats gunna happen next So far this season this is the only show of any real value I have seen.
